Fitbit to Google Health - What to understand before you move your account

Modified on Tue, Jun 23 at 12:47 PM

Google Accounts give you access to all Google services, including Fitbit, and the new Google Health app.

To check if you already have a Google account, refer to the Google Accounts webpage.

During the migration process, you have the opportunity to review and make changes to your Fitbit data and setup. After that, you can then manage your Fitbit data from your Google Account settings and the Google Health app.
Migrations must be complete by July 15th, 2026, to keep all of your historical data. You'll keep all historical data that you choose to move to your Google Account.

To move your Fitbit account to a Google Account:
  1. Open the Google Health app.
  2. Log in with your Fitbit account.
  3. A notification to move your account to access Google Health will appear.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
