Samsung Health data can be synced to WellRight using the new Android app, Health Connect.
In Samsung Health, ‘Sync with Samsung Cloud’ must be on to sync to Health Connect. In Samsung Health, to ensure this is toggled on, click My Page in the lower right corner. Then, in the upper right, access Settings by tapping the three vertical dots in the upper right.
Once the above is enabled, please follow the steps below.
1. Download the Health Connect app
2. Open Health Connect and tap Get Started.
3. Under “Permissions and data,” tap App permissions and turn on Samsung Health.
4. Allow all data permissions for a successful sync. Tap Allow.
5. Now you’re ready to go to the WellRight app Devices screen and toggle on Health Connect.
If you experience an error, please check your phone’s settings to allow WellRight access to your step data. You will then see screens to allow WellRight to access Health Connect data. For best results, please select Allow All. You can change these settings at any time in Health Connect.
*Health Connect will sync up to 30 days of historic data at the initial sync; ensure you connect your app to Health Connect first.
